Dr.Swapnanjali Avhad Gynaecologist from Nashik honoured with National Award. Dr.Swapnanjali Avhad, Medical Director and gynaecologist at Dr.Avhad Maternity Hospital was honored with the IMA National Award for outstanding social work by the National President of the Indian Medical Association, Dr. R. V. Ashokan (Kerala). The National Conference of the Indian Medical Association, 'Natcon', was held in Hyderabad recently. At that time, former President Dr. Sharad Agarwal (Uttar Pradesh), President-elect for 2024-25 Dr. Dilip Bhanushali (Telangana) and National Hony Secretary General Dr. Anil Kumar Nayak (Gujarat), National Vice President Dr. Shiv Kumar Utture and other dignitaries were present. Dr. Avhad is a renowned gynecologist from Nashik. She is the former president of IMA Nashik Road Association. She is also the Chairman of Maharashtra State Women Doctors Wing. Dr. Avhad was honoured with the National Award for the third time. She is the only doctor in the district to have achieved such an achievement.
